Thermal insulation for guide rail 1.1369

The newly developed thermal insulation profile can be installed together with our guide rail 1.1369 to provide additional protection against outside temperatures in the guide area of roller shutter doors.

This thermal insulation profile consists of a novel, highly insulating TPE foam with a remarkably low lambda value of approximately 0.07 W/mK.
It fills the space between the guide rail and the wall created by the integrated shimming of the guide rail, thus insulating the metal of the guide rail from the outside air.

The laminated lip extends across the entire surface of the guide rail facing the building. After the guide rail is installed, it sits between the guide rail and the wall, creating a thermal break and also providing acoustic decoupling of the guide rail from the wall.

Together with the PVC sealing strips with internal bristles (see images above), this achieves the best possible protection against environmental influences in the guide area of roller shutters.
