as an alternative to reinforcement angles for bottom rails
Reinforcement profiles for bottom rails
Like the common reinforcement profiles angles, the reinforcement profiles can help to strengthen the bottom rail of a roller shutter and thus increase its resistance, especially to high wind loads. Compared to conventional reinforcement angles, they reduce the risk of injury when opening the roller shutter because of the rounded outer edge. (They can also reduce the temptation to lift a person up.)
The reinforcement profiles developed by us are not only an improvement in terms of statics, they also meet the latest requirements of DIN EN 12453: 2017.
Plastic plugs to close the side openings can be supplied.
